Senior Front End Developer

ideaPoint’s innovation management software, an Anaqua product, accelerates the world’s science and innovation.  ideaPoint improves how global companies capture, identify, evaluate, track, and managed innovation opportunities from internal and external partnerships and collaborations.

Anaqua is looking for a highly motivated Senior Software Engineer to join the ideaPoint team.  This role is based in our Belfast office and reports to the Sr. Director, ideaPoint Engineering.

Responsibilities:

• Hands-on senior software engineer for innovation management platform that includes Angular, .NET (C#), SQL Server, Mobile App
• Write robust, well tested code
• Help drive Agile software design, implementation, and delivery
• Help drive architecture for platform
• Help drive strong software engineering practice
• Work closely on an Agile team with Product, Engineers, QA, and UX

Qualifications:

Technical Skills

• Strong experience with Angular
• Solid experience with .NET (C#) and SQL Server
• Experience with software architecture and design
• Nice to have: GraphQL experience
• Nice to have: Elasticsearch or NoSQL experience
• Nice to have: Xamarin or mobile app development experience

Soft Skills

• Excited to learn and curious about emerging technologies and practices
• Able to quickly evaluate and adopt new technologies and practices
• Motivated by an Agile, fast-paced, global team environment
• Self-driven and highly motivated to deliver high quality, scalable solutions with minimal guidance
• Strong verbal and written communication

Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of progressive experience in developing software applications
