Our new EnergyTech company requires the expert skills of a Data Analyst to help us reach our technical goals. Our vision is to provide an all-Ireland energy solution, that will be rewarding for both consumers and the environment. Utilising technology, we are breaking the norms and allowing an easier mode of customer engagement. This is a critical position within the firm, your position will be to assist in road mapping, building and driving our data services.  

Your responsibility:
You will be tasked with managing an array of data pools, including marketing, financial and regulatory reporting. Working alongside different business units to deliver reports and insights from which business decisions can be made and trends can be forecasted.

This is an incredibly hybrid position and is best suited to someone who enjoys working with unstructured and raw data.

  • Provide direction on appropriate models, tools and technologies for solving customer engagement and business & regulatory reports
  • Taking the lead in design, build and implementation data analysis visuals and business & regulatory reports
  • Working alongside the software development team to extract and integrate high volumes of data 
  • Resource planning and ROI forecasting 
  • Constantly upskilling and seeking knowledge / training from industry experts, liaising with external technical partners

What you need to have:

  • You will need at least 3 years’ experience with the following technologies:
  • SQL, ETL & Data Visualisation tools such as; (PowerBI, Tableau, QlikView etc) 
  • Expert level Excel skills
  • Comfortable in self-management and delivering presentations of your insights

It would be great if you also had:

  • Knowledge of the energy market 
  • Experience using SSIS / SSRS
  • Data Science tools (Python, R, Matlab)
