We want to expand our talented teams and are excited to be creating a new centre of excellence in Belfast. We are building teams that are fully functional with leadership, back- and front-end development, data engineering and testing, located in Northern Ireland.

We are expanding our internal shared services department. This role is primarily supporting PEAK6 compliance department as well as internal projects for our organisation. You are free to explore unique solutions and try fresh ideas that may benefit our financial services and trading businesses, and our investment companies. You’ll collaborate with some of tech’s sharpest minds to solve for the firm’s ever-changing but exciting challenges. Working in tech at PEAK6 means that you’ll always be presented with a variety of new possibilities as you continue to enhance your skills.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Provide accurate, in-depth data for decision-making
  • Automation and monitoring of reports
  • Reduce repetitive work
  • Deployments of updates and fixes
  • Developing new services that may include:
  • Surveillance and monitoring programs
  • Documentation generation
  • Machine learning enhancements

You’ll gain loads of experience in this role but before you do, you should have:

  • 2+ years' experience of software development skills in a modern object-oriented programming language ideally Python
  • Some experience in: Docker, Kubernetes, Linux, Systemd, HTML, Flask, JavaScript, Building ML Models
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
  • Effective communication skills
  • Adaptability: while you enjoy establishing process and standards, you understand the need
  • Applicants must have the permanent right to live and work in the UK - this job is based from our Belfast Office
