Summary:
As a Multi Cloud DevOps Engineer (f/m/d) you will work closely with other engineers and operators across global teams and our lines of business to ensure business goals around governance in our public cloud environments are met.

The Role:
The role will focus on breaking down complex problems into tactical actions and implementing DevOps solutions using the latest cloud technologies. This role requires extensive cross-group coordination, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work across various horizontal functions. You are highly resourceful, creative, analytical and have a combination of focus, flexibility, self-motivation plus integrity and willingness to embrace the One SAP and customer first mentality that SAP is known for. Role Requirements:

• 2+ Years’ experience in AWS, Azure or GCP
• 2+ Years Enterprise Cloud Engineering and Operations at scale
• Knowledge of DevOps tools and methodologies – e.g. Terraform, Git, Jenkins, JIRA, Confluence or equivalents
• Knowledge of Python, PowerShell or equivalent scripting technologies and deployment automation
• Understanding of cloud based identity services and federation
• Documentation of solutions (e.g. configuration and setup)
• Experience managing your own workloads within projects/Agile delivery methodologies

A certification in one of AWS, Azure or GCP is preferred. Additionally experience in governance (e.g. security, cost) of public cloud resources at scale in very large or enterprise environments.

The Multi Cloud Hyperscaler DevOps team play a critical central role within SAP’s global public cloud transition. As a Multi Cloud DevOps Engineer, you will be at the heart of the processes that empower SAP to develop and deliver high quality products quickly. Working with our lines of business, you will help build and run our next-generation multi cloud technologies at global scale.
