At Stora we’re building the operating system for self storage. In the process, we’re revolutionising how a global industry works by optimising and automating how these businesses function. As a result, operators worldwide are earning more, while doing less, and their customers are getting a best in class self storage experience.
We feel like we’ve barely gotten started and the true innovation of Stora is yet to come. To help achieve our goals, we’re on the hunt for great talent to join our product team.
We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our growing dev team. You’ll focus on our core platform (a Rails app with sprinklings of Stimulus JS), assisting in the delivery of our roadmap, helping to create “the Shopify of Self Storage”.

Generally, we work best with self-starting team players. People who are happy to take the reins and see a piece of work through to completion. We’re always there to help if needs be.
Your responsibilities include:
Day to day you’ll be working with:
We’re committed to creating a diverse environment. All qualified applicants will be considered regardless of race, colour, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, genetics, national origin, disability, age or any other grounds.
Ideally, you’ll be based in the UK but we will consider applicants from further afield.
The starting salary on offer is £60-65k.
Lightweight is the name of the game here.
One more thing...want to ask us a question?
We'd like to invite you to get to know our company, the people behind it, and how we work. That's why on Thursday 9th December our product team is going to record a roundtable discussion about just that. And we'd love to be answering your questions. You can use this form to ask anonymously.
Thanks!
