Description

Working as part of the R&D Team, the role involves design and development of innovative defibrillator technology and support applications. This is an opportunity to use your own good judgment, initiatives, and professional expertise to contribute to saving lives.

What you will do:

  • Design and develop new software applications to support defibrillator products, their accessories, and associated automated manufacturing test systems;
  • Support the modification, redesign, or maintenance of existing applications;
  • Generate and/or review the required documentation for each phase of the design cycle.
  • Assist in the validation and verification of products, applications or systems against their requirements;
  • Understand and apply the Company's Quality Procedures such as design controls and risk management;
  • Maintain awareness of the latest technologies and design methodologies and identify opportunities for integration into projects
  • Attend and contribute to Design Review meetings
  • Provide code development time/resource estimates to the project team
  • Any other duties as deemed necessary by the R&D management team

What you will need:

  • A minimum of 2 years experience of working within an electronics/ software development environment
  • Basic understanding of electronics
  • C/C++/C# and/or similar high-level languages
  • Bachelor's degree in Software/Electronics Engineering or a related discipline
  • Competency with Microsoft Office
  • Capable of producing high-quality technical documentation
  • Experience in Source Control Systems
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and oral)
  • Very high work standards with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently/self-motivated
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Good planning and organizational skills
  • Any other duties as deemed necessary by the R&D management team
