Web Designer

Visionworks Interactive have a fantastic opportunity for a talented and ambitious Web Designer with front-end development skills to join our team.

Visionworks Interactive was founded in 2000 as a freelance agency in Belfast, and has grown rapidly with many blue chip clients. For over fifteen years, we’ve been working on projects that range from the Media & Entertainment industry right through to large financial institutions all with the one ethos – to create an engaging and memorable experience every time.

We offer professional website design solutions tailored to a wide range of budgets, with one imperative – getting your message across quickly, cleanly and effectively, through a well designed user-friendly website.

There are a lot of web companies out there, but few with the strength of a full service advertising agency and renowned independent television and film company under the same roof.

Responsibilities:

• Work collaboratively with the design team on website visuals
• Develop work ready (responsive) front-end code
• Implement WordPress CMS into front-end builds
• Maintain websites and implement any necessary additions or enhancements
• Keep up to date with the latest technologies and recommend the best practices
• Provide training and customer support to clients

Essential Criteria:

The ideal candidate must be able to display the following:

• Strong knowledge of HTML & CSS (Responsive Website Design)
• Experience working with WordPress
• UX/UI design experience
• Experience of working independently and as part of a team
• Good organisational skills
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Have exceptional attention to detail
• A portfolio or samples of past work and projects
• At least 2 years commercial experience in digital design, preferably in an agency environment
• A familiarity with or desire to learn delivering video content online
